minds, yours and God's.
According to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, the Hebrew definition of the words "help" and "meet" are the same, help. If you plug that into the verse you see a double statement of help. Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary gives the definition of the word help as; "to give assistance or support to." The same dictionary gives the definition of the word meet as; "precisely adapted to a particular situation, need, or circumstance."
A help meet is one who is to give assistance or support and is precisely adapted (made to fit) to a particular situation, need or circumstance. A help meet is precisely made to give assistance and support to the man God has made her for. A help meet is an aid, a backer, an advocate and a champion of her husband.
